When trying to think of one inspiring story from this past mission, it's pretty difficult due to the fact that each day was filled with so much joy! I LOVED seeing the gifts each person on the team had to offer. One instance that comes to mind was when we decided to give away the donated shoes that Jeff brought on the trip. One 90 year old man received his first pair of tennis shoes. Prior to his cataract surgery, he was so blind that he had to feel the shoes to figure out what was on his feet. His face immediately went from 100 % stoic to an enormous, toothless smile. His daughter sitting beside him burst into tears of joy exclaiming that this was the first pair of tennis shoes he had ever owned. From then on, the entire family kept calling him "Michael Jordan"... :). What a necessary item this man had been living without!!

Thank you to everyone who helped on this last mission. I want to give a special thanks to my parents who have made everything possible. I could not be more PROUD. What a team!!
